Let’s Go Otters!
On Otter Tri Team, we Work Hard, Dream Big and NEVER Give Up.
This means: I work hard. I try my best. When I fall down, I get back up. I listen to Coach Meg, and talk to her. She is here to help me be a better triathlete, competitor and person. I say hello to my teammates at practice and on race morning. I welcome new team members. I work with my teammates. I cheer for my teammates at races. I give high-fives. Even when I don’t do as well as I would have liked, I encourage someone else. I help clean up after every practice and race. I know we leave the parks better than the way we found them.
I am glad to be an Otter.
It also means that I wear my Otter Gear to both practice and race — t-shirt, hoodie, team kit, and team swim cap. AND should I make the podium, I am wearing my Gear with pride.
I represent the Otter Tri Team.
Before practice and races, it is my responsibility to speak with Coach Meg regarding my goals for the race, as well as those things I would like to improve on. I am also expected to speak with my Coach after each race.
I arrive to races in a timely fashion, so that I can receive last minute instructions and warm-up with the team.
Overall, I do my best every single day.
